Frequently Asked Questions

Frequently Asked Questions About Certified Refurbished Electronics

What is a refurbished laptop, phone or electronic device?

A refurbished device is a laptop, phone, tablet or other electronic product that has been previously owned, then professionally inspected, tested and restored before being resold — different from a plain used product, which is resold as-is with no inspection. Refurbished electronics and refurbished products fall into different quality tiers depending on the seller. At FeelsBrandNew, every device we sell is certified refurbished, meaning it passes a defined testing and grading process covering parts authenticity, functionality, performance, battery health and cosmetic condition before it's approved for sale.

What does certified refurbished mean?

Certified refurbished means a device has passed a defined inspection and testing process — not just been cleaned and resold. At FeelsBrandNew, our certified refurbished electronics standard covers:

Originality of parts
Multi-point grading and condition inspection
Battery health check
Performance and stress testing
Cosmetic restoration
Final quality sign-off before dispatch

Whether it's a certified refurbished laptop or phone, only devices that pass every applicable check are approved to carry the FeelsBrandNew name.

Are refurbished electronics safe to buy online in India?

Yes — buying refurbished electronics online in India is safe when you're buying from a trusted refurbished electronics seller who actually verifies and discloses their process. Refurbished electronics safety comes down to testing and transparency, not luck. Before buying from any seller in India, check:

Does the seller test every device, or just take their word for it?
Is the actual condition disclosed honestly, not defaulted to "excellent"?
Is there a real return or refund policy if the item doesn't match?
Can you reach support directly, not just an automated form?

At FeelsBrandNew, every device is certified before listing, backed by a documented refund process, and our support team is reachable directly Monday–Saturday, 10 AM–7 PM.

Are refurbished electronics as good as new products?

Functionally, yes — a properly certified refurbished device performs the same as new, running the same processor, same RAM and same real-world speed it always had. What can differ is cosmetic condition, not capability. Refurbished electronics quality varies a lot between sellers, which is exactly why certified refurbished quality standards matter: a device that's been individually tested and graded is a safer bet than one that's simply been wiped and relisted — new or not.

Why should I buy refurbished electronics from FeelsBrandNew instead of buying used products from an individual seller?

With an individual seller, you have no way to verify condition, no warranty, and no recourse if something's wrong after you've paid. FeelsBrandNew vs individual seller comes down to accountability:

Testing before sale — Individual seller: not disclosed. FeelsBrandNew: certified before listing.
Warranty — Individual seller: none. FeelsBrandNew: up to 3 months.
Support — Individual seller: personal negotiation. FeelsBrandNew: dedicated support team.
Recourse if wrong — Individual seller: limited or none. FeelsBrandNew: documented refund process.

That's what makes us a trusted refurbished electronics seller, not just another listing.
